Coco Colima was founded in 1949 in the town of Armeria, Colima; by Francisco Berrondo and Rafael Guroceaga with business name: Francisco Berrondo y CIA. S.A. In 1968 changed its name to coconut Colima s. and later a coconut Colima, S.A. de C.V
From then to date, our company is dedicated to the manufacture of dried coconut flesh, applying strict standards of hygiene and controls to ensure the safety of their products, ensuring their quality and keep as in the preference of customers for 60 years.. Including the important national and international industries of the processed foods industry.
Today Coco Colima, is a thriving company that works according to the new models of quality assurance, that innovates and applies recent technologies in their manufacturing processes. And applied modern techniques, administrative and strategic management, in order to meet fully the requirements of its customers, ensure its permanence in the market and continue to contribute to the development of the country; in particular to the area where cocotera is located (the most important in Mexico).
